Sitting in a park under the Queesborough Bridge, a beautiful Henna necklace was drawn on my neck. It looked great with my black dress.
Though this is not a haiku in the strictest sense, it evokes a time and place in such an evocative way that it makes me think of such poetic forms. I really like the way that a woman’s space becomes an open space, that a ZENANA floats quietly under the bridge allowing the ephemeral henna necklace to glisten in the dark.
